Jarrett Allen is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The 6-foot-11 center was selected by the Nets with the 22nd overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He attended St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas, where he earned a three-star rating from ESPN and Scout while also being named to both All Central Texas and All District teams as a senior.

Prior to his career at St. Stephen’s, Allen played AAU basketball with Texas Pro Player Academy under coaches Jeremy Campbell and Mark Llewellyn. After enrolling at St Stephens, he worked closely with newly hired head coach Doug Davalos who helped prepare him for college ball by making sure he took advantage of every opportunity.
