Evan Mobley is one of the latest and greatest basketball phenoms emerging from the collegiate ranks today. A towering 6’11” center out of USC, Mobley has been turning heads since his high school days in Chino Hills, California. The son of a former professional basketball player himself, Evan was destined for stardom from an early age.

Mobley started playing organized basketball in seventh grade and quickly grew into one of the most promising prospects in Southern California. By his sophomore year at Chino Hills High School, he was already being heavily recruited by some of college basketball biggest programs including Kansas and Duke. However, it was hometown USC who ultimately won out and secured him to play as a Trojan for Rick Caruso’s program starting in 2020-21 season.

Mobley’s contributions to USC have been nothing short of impressive. In his freshman season with the Trojans he averaged 16 points per game on 58% shooting while also collecting 8 rebounds per contest through 33 games played – all while leading his team to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen round with what eventually became an Elite Eight finish against Gonzaga University before going down due to Covid-19 regulations this past March 2021 season. His efforts were rewarded when he was named consensus first-team All American honors along with the Pac 12 Player Of The Year award for that same campaign as well as being selected 7th overall in 2021 NBA Draft by Sacramento Kings organization where they hope can be part just their newly assembled core group consisting off De’Aaron Fox ,Tyrese Haliburton & Marvin Bagley III moving forward .

Mobley’s skill set is unique and stands out among players today as he is considered both a traditional back-to-the basket type center but presents enough athleticism necessary to create mismatches all over court whether passing or scoring either near basket or outside three point line . He will bring size , length & defensive abilities that can potentially develop him into All Star level player sooner rather then later but only time will tell how much impact Evan Mobley will have once gets settled onto professional scene .

There is no doubt that Evan Mobley has big things ahead for him both at collegiate level during what may be remainder stay at USC before likely heading off NBA soon after , so look for future brighter star emerge from college ranks very soon these coming months ahead .
