James Harden is one of the best players in the National Basketball Association, and he has been playing professional basketball since 2009. A native of Los Angeles, Harden was drafted third overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2009 and played with them until 2012 when he was traded to the Houston Rockets.
Harden’s career averages include 24.3 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, 6.4 assists per game, 2 steals per game and 1 block per game; all excellent statistics for such a young player. He is known for his ability to score from anywhere on the court and his expert ball-handling skills that make him difficult to guard against even some of the toughest defenders in today’s NBA.
It wasn’t always easy for James though; during his rookie season he had limited minutes on court due to issues with conditioning as well as being stuck behind superstars like Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook who took up most of coach Scott Brooks’ attention at practice time. However although it may have taken longer than anticipated, James eventually found himself becoming a key contributor off bench by his sophomore year contributing an average 12ppg off bench in only 25 minutes of playtime each night!
In 2012 after four seasons with Oklahoma City he was traded over Houston Rockets where we know him now today – arguably one of greatest shooting guards this league has ever seen! Since joining Rockets Harden has experienced vast success : averaging 27+ points every season (including earning MVP honors 2018) leading Rockets into post season 3 years consecutively (2014-2018) taking them all way Conference Finals 2015 along way winning multiple Player Of Year awards (2015/16 & 2017/18). His drive consistency excellence made him first backcourt star franchise hasn’t had since hall fame Clyde Drexler played iconic red white black decades ago!
What makes James so special isn’t just numbers stats but rather way which approaches plays style particular brand basketball – One That’s both physically mentally challenging opponents but also extremely entertaining fans! By combining sick handles signature stepback eurostep three range “Beard Gang” turned what could been ordinary position into fan favorite spectacle night night basis – something no other active player currently able accomplish like does level finesse agility flair unmatched by any its peers this generation or next ! With that said there will no doubt be much more greatness come from James Harden future years come…
