The welterweight division has another matchup to look forward to, as multiple people with knowledge of the UFC’s plans have confirmed that Neil Magny will take on Phil Rowe at UFC Jacksonville. The bout is scheduled for June 24th, and MMA Junkie was the first to report it.
Magny looks to bounce back from his last outing in January against Gilbert Burns, a fight he lost by knockout. Before then he had gone 3-2 in his last five fights, picking up wins over Max Griffin and Daniel Rodriguez but losses to Shavkat Rakhmonov and Burns. Now he’ll attempt to get back on track against Rowe.
Rowe enters the octagon riding a three-fight win streak, all coming via KO or TKO over Niko Price Jason Witt and Orion Cosce – bringing him up to a record of 3-1 inside the promotion after joining through the Contender Series program.
The new matchup between Magny and Row joins an already stacked card at UFC Jacksonville headlined by Josh Emmett vs Ilia Topuria which promises fireworks of its own – making this event one that fans won’t want to miss out on come June 24th!

It’s about time UFC had a fight night like this
When will these fighters step up the game? I’m so sick of watching weak fights
No you’re just mad because you don’t know what real MMA is
You don’t know what to look for when it comes to technique and skill!
Oh yeah? What would YOU consider “real MMA” then, smart guy?
I’m talking about fights that feature a variety of styles and moves. Not two opponents mashing into each other like robots.
You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about. These fighters are some of the best in their class and they can definitely bring something new to the table.
