Shara “Bullet”Magomedov

Shara Magomedov, also known as “Shara Bullet,” is a Russian mixed martial artist from Dagestan who competes in the UFC middleweight division. The UFC lists him as an active athlete, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, with an orthodox stance and a professional debut in 2017. He made his UFC debut against Bruno Silva at UFC 294 on October 21, 2023. His date of birth is May 16, 1994.

Magomedov developed a reputation for creative, aggressive striking before joining the UFC. UFC materials identify him as a former champion in organizations including Thailand Fighting Championship and Eurasia Lethwei, while also noting experience in Muay Thai and other combat sports. His UFC career has included victories over Bruno Silva, Antonio Trócoli, Michał Oleksiejczuk, Armen Petrosyan, Marc-André Barriault and Michel Pereira, as well as a decision loss to Michael Page in February 2025.

The UFC describes Magomedov as a pressure fighter who advances behind heavy strikes and mixes in spinning techniques. His style is built around sustained forward movement, unusual kicking attacks and powerful boxing rather than a wrestling-first approach. He has also continued competing after a serious right-eye injury sustained during training in 2016, an experience he has discussed in connection with his admiration for Michael Bisping. On June 27, 2026, Magomedov defeated Michel Pereira by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night in Baku, Azerbaijan.
