Sabina Mazo is a Colombian Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter who competes in the flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). She began her professional MMA career in 2016 and has since become one of the top female fighters in the world.

Born on October 13, 1995, Sabina Mazo grew up in Medellin, Colombia where she was an avid soccer player as a child. At age 15 she decided to switch sports and pursue martial arts. She started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Gracie Barra school with professor Fernando “Tererê” Augusto and that’s when her MMA journey began.

In 2016, Sabina made her professional debut for LFA after signing a multi-fight deal with them. In her very first fight she defeated Shannon Sinn via unanimous decision in just three rounds and later followed it up with a submission over Linsey Williams at LFA 16. Her impressive performance earned her ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors twice by LFA as well as an invitation to join UFC for their Flyweight Division roster.

Sabina made her UFC debut against Maryna Moroz on April 20th 2019 at UFC Fight Night: Jacare vs Hermansson where she won via split decision after full three rounds of nonstop action and hard punches thrown by both competitors which was highly praised by all MMA fans around the world watching live or online streamings including Dana White himself who granted Sabina’s post match interview on octagon cage side congratulating this young talent from Colombia for being so brave despite such hostile environment full of pressure specially coming right out off amateurs league into pro’s arena level like UFC. After that successfull debut victory inside octagon cage , Sabana has now signed another contract extension deal with Ufc still staying within Flyweight Division were some other great female athletes are currently competing . This makes total four fights so far under ufc flag where 2 wins , 1 draw &1 loss result summing up overall record achievement status showing 11 – 2 – 0 win-loss-draw history . Additionally during 2020 year season mazo also claimed Invicta FC Phoenix Series Featherweight Tournament title beating all contenders along tournament way earning golden belt within Invicta promotion platform collection .
