BIOGRAPHY

Rodolfo Vieira is a Brazilian Mixed Martial Artist and Jiu-Jitsu black belt who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is known for being an incredibly talented fighter, as well as an efficient strategist.

Vieira was born on April 25th, 1991 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. From a young age he began to develop an interest in martial arts and would practice judo with his brother when he was just 7 years old. In 2007 he began training jiu-jitsu at the famed Gordo Jiu Jitsu Academy located in Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro where he earned his black belt under Fabricio Werdum at the age of 21. With his strong ground game, Vieira became one of the most accomplished competitors ever seen in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition after winning several titles including two world championships, four Pan American Championships and five European Championships among other major tournaments such as Abu Dhabi World Pro Cup & Copa Podio Middleweight Grand Prix Champion.

In 2015 Vieira made his professional MMA debut against Bruno Silva Gomes which resulted in a first round submission victory via guillotine choke. After another three successful fights all ending by submission victories within two rounds or less Rodolfo signed with UFC to compete at middleweight division while still holding onto undefeated record of 5 wins and 0 losses during that period from 2014 till 2016 .

In 2017 Rodolfo made his UFC debut against Oluwale Bamgbose at UFC 212 where despite having had just 14 days notice about the fight , Viera managed to win by unanimous decision after three rounds of action resulting him winning “Performance Of The Night” bonus award given out by promotion organisation for exceptional performance inside octagon cage. After this fight Viera has been slowly but surely climbing up rankings ladder with notable wins over Krzysztof Jotko & Antonio Carlos Junior while losing only once throughout this time period against Karl Roberson back 2018 . As it stands right now Rodolfo currently holds 9-1 record overall inside octagon cage while also proudly positioned himself third place on official middleweight rankings trailing only behind current champion Israel Adesanya & challenger Paulo Costa respectively .
