Khama Worthy is an American professional mixed martial arts fighter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He competes in the Featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Since his debut in 2017, he has become one of the most exciting and dynamic fighters on the UFC roster.

Worthy began his MMA career in 2008 at just 19 years old, fighting for regional promotions to hone his skills as a martial artist. After compiling a 7-2 record, he earned himself a contract with UFC where he made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 138, losing by split decision to Teruto Ishihara. Despite this setback, Worthy kept competing and eventually earned wins over Luis Peña and Dwight Grant which propelled him into championship contention.

In 2019 Khama Worthy took part in two pivotal fights; firstly beating Devonte Smith via TKO punch at UFC 241 and secondly a classic back-and-forth contest against NASM fighters Justin Jaynes that was awarded ‘Fight of the Night’ honors at UFC Fight Night 166. This earned Khama recognition as one of the top featherweights in MMA today and wetted fans’ appetites for more from The Deathstar going forward 2020.

Outside of competition Khama is an ambassador for multiple charities around Philadelphia including ‘The Giving Back Fund’ working with underprivileged kids to teach them about self discipline through Martial Arts training and help build confidence with educational tools such as tutoring services provided by volunteers from local communities throughout Philadelphia . He also operates several businesses such as ‘Death Star Fitness Center’ which provides personal training services specializing towards amateur athletes who want to take their fitness level up another notch while learning new techniques within mixed martial arts disciplines like wrestling, Jiu Jitsu etc.. To add onto these achievements Khama was recently included on Forbes 30 Under 30 list recognizing young stars who are making positive impacts across multiple industries like sports etc..

On July 15th 2020 Khama will face off against veteran fighter Sean Woodson hoping to solidify himself among the elite ranks of featherweight contenders within MMA today. With endless determination & hard work we can expect only great things coming out from this rising star fighter….So stay tuned!
