BIOGRAPHY

Justin Jaynes is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the featherweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born on August 23, 1989, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Justin attended Pioneer High School where he was a three-sport athlete. In 2008, he entered college at Central Michigan University and became a two-time All American wrestler for the school. After graduating with a degree in Economics he decided to go pro as an MMA fighter.

Jaynes made his professional MMA debut in 2012 and compiled an impressive 18-4 record before signing with UFC in 2020. He has fought primarily in regional promotions such as Global Proving Ground (GPG) and Xtreme Fighting League (XFL). Since joining UFC, Jaynes has had four fights against some of the best featherweights on their roster including Alex Caceres and Gavin Tucker; both of these fighters being former Invicta FC champions.

In September 2020 Justin earned his first win inside the octagon by KO after connecting with a left hook at just 0:26 seconds into round one against fellow new comer Frank Camacho at UFC Fight Island 5. This victory marked “The Gypsy King’s” fourth consecutive finish! The only loss that Justin suffered since joining UFC was to rising star Darrick Minner who submitted him via rear naked choke back in February 2021 at UFC 258.

Outside of fighting Jaynes also works full time as a real estate agent; helping clients buy or sell homes throughout Michigan & Ohio areas which he finds very rewarding work due to its connection with people just like himself from all walks of life looking for assistance through uncertain times within our economy & job market today!

Justin’s passion lies within family & friends whom inspire him daily while training hard under coaches James Lee Jr., William Deyampert and Jon Fitch among others so that one day soon they can celebrate together when crowning hour arrives ! His ultimate goal for this career choice is simple – to become champion! With determination & perseverance no doubt those goals can be achieved although it will take continuous dedication towards becoming better every day amongst talented competition today’s sports world continues serving up
