BIOGRAPHY

Jordan Wright is an American mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Born on December 28, 1991 in Herndon, Virginia, he began wrestling when he was seven years old and continued to compete until graduating high school. After high school, he attended college and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. While attending college, Jordan trained and competed in kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions before transitioning into professional MMA fighting where his striking skills quickly set him apart from other fighters.

In 2013, Jordan made his debut as a professional Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) fighter and was immediately signed by the World Series of Fighting promotion. He is best known for his devastating stand-up fighting style which has earned him eleven victories via knockout or technical knockout since then – five at WSOF and six at UFC. For such impressive performances over the course of his career so far, Jordan has won multiple awards including Fighter of the Year for WSOF 2014; Fighter of The Night for UFC Fight Night 120; Rising Star Award 2017 from MMAFighting.com; Submission Of The Year 2020 from Bloody Elbow and Performance Of The Night bonuses twice each from both WSOF and UFC promotions.

Throughout his career so far Jordan has kept up a steady training schedule that includes daily Jiu Jitsu classes as well as strength & conditioning sessions – all coached by top professionals like Mike Prangley (former WEC champion). His impressive technique combined with disciplined training regimen have enabled him to stay injury free throughout most of his fights thus far – giving him an edge against fellow competitors who may not be able to match this level or consistency or commitment to their own preparation process leading up to fight night events.
