Ikram Aliskerov is a Russian mixed martial arts fighter currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) middleweight division. Born on April 16, 1991, in the city of Vladikavkaz, Russia, Ikram is one of four siblings raised by his parents in a small village located near the Chechnya border. Growing up in poverty and living through wars and conflicts has instilled him with immense mental toughness that he brings to every fight.

At an early age, Ikram was introduced to Martial Arts from his father who was an avid enthusiast himself. He soon gained an interest for combat sports and began training at local gyms alongside his older brother Hassan. This passion led him to pursue Mixed Martial Arts professionally as he started helping out at local MMA tournaments and eventually earned his first professional win at just 16 years old against another amateur fighter from Dagestan Republic aged 18 years old. His strong commitment and dedication towards training helped him earn various titles including winning two championships “Middleweight Grand Prix” and “Golden Combat Cup” while still being relatively unknown outside of Russia during 2012-2013 period

It wasn’t until 2016 that Ikram signed with UFC after compiling a 7-0 record across five different promotions which included notable wins over Evgeny Erokhin & Rodolfo Marques de Oliveira Junior among others thus building up a formidable reputation amongst fans across Europe along the way During this time Ikram also trained extensively abroad under other recognized coaches such as Mike Winkeljohn who have worked with renowned fighters like Holly Holm & Jon Jones .

Ikram Aliskerov made his official UFC debut on November 11th 2017 where he faced off against fellow undefeated prospect Marcel Fortuna resulting in victory for Aliskerov via split decision After this impressive performance, more recently he has been matched up against Karl Roberson on May 23rd 2020 where again despite taking significant damage throughout the three rounds managed to secure another win via Unanimous Decision showing yet again that determination coupled with skill will always prevail .

Throughout all these successes , what sets apart from many others is not only his relentless drive but also ability to remain humble even when confronted by challenging situations or opponents which makes him an exemplary role model aspiring young athletes today .
