BIOGRAPHY

Conor McGregor is a professional mixed martial artist, boxer and entrepreneur from Dublin, Ireland. He is one of the most popular fighters in the world and has held two UFC championships. His career began in 2008 when he made his debut as an MMA fighter at Cage Warriors Fighting Championship. He quickly rose to fame with his aggressive style and dominant performances, culminating with his historic victory over Jose Aldo for the UFC Featherweight Championship in 2015.

McGregor’s rise to stardom was rapid due to his unique fighting style, trash-talking attitude and unrivaled self-confidence. This combination of skills has earned him awards from MMAFighting’s Fighter of The Year (2015) as well as ESPN’s ESPY Best Fighter Award (2016).

As a result of his success inside the Octagon, McGregor has become one of the biggest names in combat sports outside it. In 2016 he signed a lucrative deal with Reebok which propelled him towards mainstream popularity and into conversations concerning athlete endorsements while also earning him several million dollars per year.
