BIOGRAPHY

Andreas Michailidis is a UFC middleweight fighter from Athens, Greece. He has been competing in MMA since 2011 and fighting professionally since 2017. Throughout his career, he has earned an impressive record of 14-2-0 with six wins by knockout and four by submission.

Michailidis began his martial arts training at the age of thirteen when he joined a local Judo gym in his hometown of Athens. After mastering the basics of Judo, he moved on to Greco-Roman Wrestling and eventually took up Muay Thai as well. By the time he was sixteen years old, Andreas had competed in various tournaments throughout Europe and had won several regional championships. With these successes under his belt, he decided to turn pro in MMA shortly after graduating high school at age 18.

His professional debut took place in 2017 when he signed with Octagon Fighting Championship (OFC). During this time Andreas racked up an impressive 5-1 record before making his way into the UFC roster for their May 2021 Fight Night card – becoming only one of two Greeks to ever sign with them! With this huge opportunity ahead of him, Andreas went on to win both fights against Chris Daukaus and Aliaskhab Khizriev respectively – cementing himself as a top 15 ranked contender within the middleweight division rankings!
