BIOGRAPHY

Miles Johns is an American mixed martial artist who currently fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) bantamweight division. Johns started his martial arts journey when he was just five years old, taking up karate and boxing. He continued to grow a love for combat sports as he entered high school, competing in wrestling tournaments throughout his teenage years.

In 2013, after graduating from high school and attending college at Bunker Hill Community College, Johns decided to make a full-time commitment to MMA and began competing in amateur events around New England. His hard work paid off as he quickly rose through the ranks becoming one of the region’s top prospects shortly before turning professional in 2017.

Johns made his professional debut on February 18th 2017 where he earned a unanimous decision victory over Francis Humphrey at Cage Titans FC 29. He then followed that win with three more victories all coming within six months of each other by way of submission or decision win over opponents such as Josh Ricci, Matt Almy & Joe Giannetti.

At this point it was clear that Miles had what it took to be successful on the greatest MMA stage in the world so on December 20th 2018 he signed with UFC after winning 5 out of 6 bouts since turning pro earlier that year including a ‘Performance of the Night award’ for his first round submission win over Shane Manley at CES 51: The Battle For New England 3 Months prior.

As part of UFC roster Miles has faced some tough competition but also tasted success along the way collecting wins against opponents such as Pingyuan Liu & Domingo Pilarte amongst others giving him an overall record of 10-2 since making his pro debut back in 2017 showing great resilience even when faced with setbacks like losses against Cole Smith & Hunter Azure respectively displaying great character from this young fighter still early into adulthood at 23 years old

Even though Miles has already achieved much during his short career which includes appearances on ESPN plus cards and Dana White’s Contender Series many believe we have yet to see him reach peak form meaning there could be much more success yet to come for this promising talent especially considering some recent signings among coaching staff members indicating they see future potential even greater than what we have seen thus far ..
