Chris Daukaus Bio

Chris Daukaus is a professional mixed martial artist, currently competing in the heavy weight division of the UFC. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began his MMA career in 2017 and has since gone on to become one of the most exciting fighters in the sport. With an impressive record of 11-3-0 and seven wins by knockout or submission, Daukaus stands out as one of the top up-and-comers in his division.

Growing up playing sports such as baseball and wrestling while attending Roman Catholic High School, it was only natural that Chris would eventually find himself drawn to MMA after graduating college with a degree in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University. His first amateur bout took place at Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) 81 against Robert Gidron which resulted in a submission victory for Chris via rear naked choke. The win earned him a spot on CFFC’s professional roster where he went onto compete six more times before being signed by Bellator MMA during 2018. He competed two times at Bellator before making headlines when transitioning over to UFC this past year 2021.

Daukaus made an instant impact upon arriving for his debut fight against Parker Porter; earning himself not just a win but also performance bonus due to his stunning knockout finish within 90 seconds! It marked his third consecutive first round finish and set off some serious buzz about what this young star could accomplish inside the octagon going forward – especially after stopping each opponent faster than then last! Following that success came another dominant showing versus Dustin Stoltzfus at UFC Vegas 21 earlier this month which further solidified Daukaus’s position as one of heavyweight’s hottest new prospects going forward into 2022 and beyond!

Outside of fighting Chris can be found training at multiple gyms around Philly including Combat Fitness Club (CFC), Balance Studios & South Jersey Mixed Martial Arts Academy (SJMMA). He also enjoys spending time with friends playing video games or watching movies; recently taking part in a charity stream event alongside fellow teammates Joey Alday & Ray Cartagena Jr., raising money for United Way Covid 19 relief fund back during March 2021.. With numerous accolades already under his belt -the sky is limit for “The Pride Of Philly” – and we can’t wait to see what else he accomplishes next within both cage combat world & outside it too!
