Known for his admirable skills as a running back, Knight currently holds the status of a free agent in the professional sport. His football career spans from his time in college at NC State, to the New York Jets, and eventually to the Detroit Lions.

Knight’s early years nurtured his dreams of pursuing a football career. Southern Nash High School in Bailey, North Carolina played an instrumental role in fostering his talents. Knight showcased exceptional brilliance on the football pitch throughout his high school career, setting an astounding school record with 5,073 rushing yards and 71 touchdowns. This impressive track record ensured a secured spot for him at North Carolina State University, where he vowed to continue his football passion.

In 2019, as a true freshman at NC State, Knight began earning a reputable name for his footballing skills. He kickstarted his college career, leading the team to seven games in which he exhibited radiant performances averaging 745 yards on 136 carries, along with five touchdowns.
