Tyler Boyd Bio
Tyler Boyd is an American football wide receiver born November 15, 1994, in Clairton, Pennsylvania. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and entered the NFL when the Cincinnati Bengals selected him in the second round, 55th overall, of the 2016 NFL Draft. At 6 feet 2 inches and 203 pounds, Boyd developed a reputation as a reliable route runner and slot receiver whose game was built on timing, toughness and feel for soft spots in coverage.
Boyd spent his first eight NFL seasons with Cincinnati before signing with the Tennessee Titans as a free agent in the 2024 offseason. His Cincinnati career included major contributions during the Bengals’ run to the AFC Championship and Super Bowl LVI, and he became known for dependable work over the middle and on third downs. As of September 15, 2026, the NFL player directory lists Boyd as an unrestricted free agent rather than on a current team roster, so this biography does not assign him a current club.
