He achieved nine successes on sixteen field-goal attempts, and a remarkable 31 out of 37 in extra-point endeavors. After a fruitful stint at Butler Community College, Zentner transferred his allegiance to Kansas State. He played four impressive years at Kansas State, punting 127 times for 5,515 yards, with a punt average of 43.4 yards. In the capacity of a kicker as well, he delivered noteworthy contributions, successfully implementing 11 out of 12 field-goal attempts and delivering a perfect 37 out of 37 in extra point attempts.

Zentner’s career reached a crescendo in 2022 with his impressive performance. He punted 59 times, covering 2,625 yards at a phenomenal average of 44.5 yards per punt. He was quickly picked up by the Houston Texans on August 25, 2023, only to be waived again on August 29, and later re-signed to their practice squad. He was finally promoted to the active roster on September 13 but was waived on October 2.

In a dramatic turn of events, Zentner was signed to the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad on December 6, 2023, following an injury to their starting punter Ryan Stonehouse. His performance secured him a place in the active roster on December 11. His association with the Titans, however, ended on August 26, 2024.

On November 1, 2024, Zentner signed with the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad, a testament to his unwavering determination. However, the stint was short-lived as he was released on November 19, 2024.
