Tutu Atwell

Chatarius “Tutu” Atwell Jr. (born October 7, 1999) is a professional American football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams of the NFL (National Football League). A talented and versatile player, he has demonstrated exceptional prowess in his position, known for his speed, agility, and impressive wide-ranging field vision.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Atwell attended Miami Northwestern Senior High School, where he began his football career. Initially, he was a quarterback and led his team to a state championship victory in his senior year. Atwell attended the University of Louisville, Kentucky, where his transition to wide receiver proved successful beyond expectations. During the 2021 NFL Draft, Atwell was selected in the second round, 57th overall, by the Los Angeles Rams. His selection was in line with the Rams’ priority for speed in their receiver corps, with Atwell arguably being one of the fastest players in the draft. Unsurprisingly, Atwell’s smaller size did not deter the Rams, who have demonstrated a knack for incorporating smaller, speedier receivers into their offensive operations.
