His early exposure to sports began at McEachern High School, located in Powder Springs, Georgia. Here, Anchrum displayed versatility in his sporting talents, participating in both the school’s football and basketball teams. His football prowess caught the attention of several universities, but it was on November 19, 2015, that Anchrum decided to commit to Clemson University. Choosing the Tigers over offers from Nebraska and Colorado, this decision kick-started his journey in college football.
