Born on February 22, 1997, Thomas Eugene Hudson hails from a sports-oriented background, with an ardent passion for American football. Currently recognized as an accomplished football tight end, Hudson’s early football journey began during his college years at Arizona State. Although he is a free agent at the moment, over the years, Hudson has proved his mettle in the American football arena with impressive game statistics and dedicated sportsmanship.

Hudson’s journey in the sporting field started by joining Arizona State Sun Devils, the Arizona State University football team. Credited with being one of their key players, Hudson spent five significant seasons with the Sun Devils, redshirting during his freshman year. This exception was factored in to give him extra time to develop his skills and physique, a decision that has been greatly influential in his successful career.

During his tenure at Arizona State, Hudson exhibited an impressive performance that helped him stand out on the field. He participated in nearly 40 games and spearheaded 26 starts, highlighting his critical role in the team. Known for his quick action and precise throws, Hudson successfully caught 25 passes for 205 yards, cementing his place as a reliable tight end.

Hudson’s professional career kicked off when he signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2020. Unfortunately, Hudson was waived off during the final roster cuts at the end of the training camp on September 5, 2020. However, displaying remarkable resilience, Hudson was back in the team’s practice squad the very next day.

A notable drawback in his career came on October 8, 2020, when Hudson faced a six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. Nevertheless, his tenacity and hard work resulted in him being signed by the Titans to a reserve/future contract at the end of the season.

Despite exhibiting a commendable performance, Hudson was waived by the Titans on September 13, 2021, and later re-signed to the practice squad. Following his injury, Hudson was activated again on November 20, only to be placed back on injured reserve on December 11. This injury abruptly ended his season, calling for a period of rest and recovery for the player.

The Titans waived Hudson once more on August 30, 2022, due to an injury and subsequently placed him on injured reserve. Hudson, however, did not succeed in making a successful comeback with the Titans and was released on October 4, 2022.

Entering into a new phase of his career journey, Hudson signed with the Denver Broncos on June 1, 2023. Unfortunately, he faced another professional setback as he was waived on August 29, 2023.

Seizing new opportunities, Hudson signed onto the New Orleans Saints’ practice squad on September 4, 2023. Evidently making an impression, the Saints signed him to a reserve/future contract at the close of the 2023 regular season on January 8, 2024. Sadly, due to an injury, Hudson was placed on injured reserve once again on August 1, 2024. Following an injury settlement, the Saints waived him on August 8.
