Mekhi Sargent is an American football running back from Key West, Florida. He was born on October 8, 1997, and played at Key West High School before attending Iowa Western Community College. After earning junior-college recognition, he transferred to the University of Iowa, where he became a senior member of the Hawkeyes’ 2020 football leadership group. Iowa listed him at 5 feet 9 inches and 209 pounds.
Sargent entered the NFL in 2021 as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans. He later spent time with the Los Angeles Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars, including active-roster and practice-squad affiliations.
