Andre Jordan Cisco, born on March 23, 2000, is best recognized for his prodigious talent in professional football within the National Football League (NFL). He currently dons the Jacksonville Jaguars uniform as a safety player, showcasing his prowess on the field since joining the NFL in the 2021 draft.

Born into the digital age, Cisco navigated through his early years in the heart of the American east coast, hailing from South Huntington, New York. His journey through the ranks in football initiated in the bustling corridors and the vibrant football field of his alma mater, St. Anthony’s High School. Just before his junior season, Cisco made a strategic decision to part ways with St. Anthony’s, moving southwards to Bradenton, Florida, where he joined IMG Academy, renowned for its comprehensive athletic programs.

His high school career was merely a stepping stone into his multiple successes in the realm of football. The athletic young man had his mind set on playing college football, and thus committed to Syracuse University. His prowess was evident right from his freshman year in 2018, where he debuted into college football. Out of the 13 games he played that season, he went on to start 11, leaving an indelible mark with 60 tackles and seven interceptions, a record that saw him tied for the highest number of interceptions nationwide.

The recognition of Cisco’s talent was immediate, as he received the revered ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year award and was named a freshman All-American. This promising start was only a sneak peek into his successful football journey. His sophomore season had him starting nine games; though three games were cut short due to injury, he nevertheless made a significant impact with 65 tackles, five interceptions, and a touchdown, showcasing his undeterred spirit.

Andre’s glittering performance in college football secured his entry into the NFL when the Jacksonville Jaguars drafted him in the third round, positioning him as the 65th overall pick of the 2021 NFL draft. June 10, 2021, marked a significant milestone in his career as he signed his four-year rookie contract with the Jaguars. As a rookie, he played 17 games, starting in three of them, and amassed 26 total tackles, two passes defended, and two forced fumbles.

Cisco’s sophomore season in the NFL witnessed a major highlight during week four against the Philadelphia Eagles. He made a stunning interception, taking it 59 yards for a touchdown in the 29-21 loss. That season, he participated in 15 games, starting in all of them. His tallies ended with one sack, 73 total tackles, three interceptions, and ten passes defended.
