Logan Stenberg is a determined personality and accomplished professional football player who has gained widespread recognition for his impressive football grit and tenacity. Born on March 18, 1997, Stenberg’s story began in Madison, Alabama, where he grew into a sportsman with a fierce passion for football. During his high school days at James Clemens High School, his jurisdiction over offensive tactics earned him the title of the first-team All-State as a senior. This formative period in his high school football career marked the early stages of a promising future in American football.

In pursuit of furthering his passion, Stenberg moved farther from his Alabama home to play college football for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, showcasing his athletic ability amongst a new league of athletes. This transition revealed his adaptability both on and off the field as he seamlessly adjusted to a new environment. His initiation to college life also came with his first taste of college football, where he redshirted his true freshman season, preserving years of sports eligibility while allowing him to practice with the team. This strategic move not only put a spotlight on his talent but also ignited the start of his steady rise on the college football scene.

Overcoming the freshman phase, Stenberg emerged as a starting player in his redshirt freshman year — a testament to his love and dedication to the game. In the 2020 NFL draft, the Detroit Lions picked Stenberg in the fourth round — a milestone moment that marked the start of his professional journey. On May 22, 2020, Stenberg signed a four-year contract with the Lions, cementing his place in professional football. Like any sportsman faced with physical challenges, Stenberg had to bear the brunt of an injury that led to him being placed on injured reserve on October 25, 2021. Through resilience and determination, he braved it all in his stride.

However, the dynamic nature of sports brought about unexpected changes to Stenberg’s career. On August 10, 2023, he was waived by the Lions, an unpredictable move that would typically unsettle any professional player. Nevertheless, showing his resilience in the face of this setback, Stenberg’s journey took a turn two days later on August 12, 2023, when the Chicago Bears claimed him off waivers. This was relatively short-lived as he was again waived on August 29, 2023.

The consecutive waivers didn’t dissuade Stenberg as he persevered through adversity and found a place in Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ practice squad on September 20, 2023. Showcasing his athletic prowess, he signed a reserve/future contract on January 23, 2024. Unfortunately, the contract was short-lived, and he was released on May 13, 2024.

In the midst of all the highs and lows in his professional life, Stenberg found a stronghold in his personal life. In April 2022, he married Leah-Mabry Mims, around two years into his professional career.
