Kadarius Toney Bio
Kadarius Toney is an American football wide receiver who played college football at the University of Florida. Born January 27, 1999, in Mobile, Alabama, he arrived at Florida as a versatile offensive player and saw work as a receiver, runner and wildcat quarterback. The Gators list him at 6 feet and 193 pounds.
Toney developed into a major playmaker during his senior season at Florida, earning first-team All-SEC recognition as an all-purpose player and second-team honors as a wide receiver from the Associated Press. His quick acceleration, sharp cuts, balance and ability to create after the catch made him one of the most distinctive offensive prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The New York Giants selected Kadarius Toney in the first round, 20th overall, in 2021. The Giants traded him to the Kansas City Chiefs on October 27, 2022, for future draft selections. Kansas City waived him on August 27, 2024; the latest dated official transaction establishes that past affiliation but does not identify a current NFL team as of September 26, 2026.
