Ka'dar Hollman's Biography

Ka’dar Chaz Hollman, known in the world of American professional football as a remarkable cornerback, was born on September 18, 1994. Currently, he stands as a proud member of the Baltimore Ravens, part of the prestigious National Football League (NFL). However, his journey has been nothing but ordinary, marked with sheer dedication and determination that reflects in his performance on the field.

Burlington Township High School served as Hollman’s initial runway into the world of football, graduating from there in 2013. His quest for higher education led him to Milford Academy, where he ardently strived to achieve the SAT scores required for college. While it was an uphill battle, Hollman wouldn’t bow down. The stint at Milford prepared him for the challenges that lay ahead and shaped him into a disciplined and determined individual.

The University of Toledo welcomed Hollman into its football team, where he first entered as a walk-on. Throughout his tenure, he played in 40 games, tackling opponents 113 times and intercepting the ball twice. His unwavering commitment and commendable gameplay led him to become a nominee for the Burlsworth Trophy, a prestigious award given to the best player in the nation who began his career as a walk-on. The recognition of his potential and his perseverance fueled his motivation moving forward.

In the 2019 NFL Draft, Hollman caught the eyes of the Green Bay Packers, leading them to draft him in the sixth round with the 185th overall pick. On May 3 of the same year, he signed his first rookie contract with the Pack. Despite this exciting start, a trade in August 2021 took him to the Houston Texans in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the upcoming 2022 draft. Unfortunately, his stint with the Texans was short-lived, as he was waived at the end of August 2021.

Continuing his pursuit, Hollman joined the practice squad of the New Orleans Saints in September 2021 before being released later that month. However, every setback spurred him on. October 2021 saw him becoming a part of the New York Giants’ practice squad. Later in December, he ended up on the squad’s injured list.

Not one to give in, Hollman, in February 2022, signed a reserve/future contract with the San Francisco 49ers. Yet, he was waived by the 49ers in August 2022, which led him to join the practice squad of the Atlanta Falcons at the end of August. His stint with the Falcons was concluded in October 2022.

Ever resilient, Hollman returned to the 49ers practice squad, where he remained until his release in November 2022. In the same vein, he was taken by the Miami Dolphins practice squad in December 2022. He started the new year of 2023 by signing a reserve/future contract with the Texans yet got released in March 2024.

In the end, on March 22, 2024, Hollman found himself once again in the role of a professional NFL player, this time signing with the Baltimore Ravens. Even though he was released in August of that year, he didn’t hang up his boots and re-signed with their practice squad.
