Avery Williams

Team: Atlanta Falcons
Position: RB

Avery Williams is a professional American football defensive back and return specialist for the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL. He was drafted by the Raiders in 2021 with the 109th overall pick in round four. Avery is from Canton, Ohio and attended Washington High School where he played both offense and defense. At Washington, he excelled on special teams, leading his team to two consecutive state championships in 2014 and 2015.

After graduating high school, Avery went on to attend Temple University where he had one of his most successful seasons yet as a cornerback-return specialist hybrid player. In three years at Temple, he recorded four interceptions—all returned for touchdowns—along with 13 pass breakups which earned him All-American Athletic Conference honors twice (2017 & 2018). Additionally, during his time at Temple University, Avery also set NCAA records for punt returns along with total kick returns yards within one season (2018) that still stands today as an all-time college record holder.

The success from college followed him into the pros when Avery was drafted by Las Vegas in 2021 and made an immediate impact right away recording 10 tackles across nine games played while adding two sacks as well proving to be a valuable piece on defense just moments after arriving onto the field since then Coach Gruden has called upon him multiple times throughout this past season due to injuries or lack of production elsewhere so far proving himself not only capable but reliable too – something necessary when playing at such a high level like NFL Football

On top of what’s been shown on field though William’s off field contributions shouldn’t go unnoticed either making sure give back whenever possible through various charities close home or otherwise helping those need it whether it’s bringing food supplies directly doorsteps those who can’t access them themselves due support issues regarding pandemics amongst other things – being humble every step way even amidst rising star status as goes show true character lies providing assistance others any available means possible – no matter big small simply put an example many should follow lead
