Jonah Jackson, an American professional football player, was born on February 5, 1997. Noteably, he plays the position of offensive guard in the prestigious National Football League (NFL), and wears the colors of the Los Angeles Rams. Born and bred for the field, Jackson pursued the sport passionately from a young age, standout performances at both college and professional levels have sculpted a resonating and captivating career for him.

Growing up in Media, Pennsylvania, serendipity guided him to his initial stages of football. As a young boy, he was instrumental in his performances for the Rose Tree Colts. Announcing his departure from Rutgers as a graduate transfer, he chose Ohio State over Oklahoma. At Ohio State, he concluded his university-playing career, where he started all games at left guard during his final season, and even won the first-team All-Big Ten honors.

In 2020, Jackson was selected to don the jersey of the Detroit Lions, being chosen as the No. 75 overall in the NFL draft. He went on to sign a four-year contract with the Lions on June 24, 2020. Jackson’s NFL journey kick-started impressively as the Lions made him their starting right guard from his rookie season. Making a memorable NFL debut on September 13, 2020, he started against the Chicago Bears and played a staggering 90% of the Lions’ offensive snaps. He showed consistency over his first two seasons in the NFL, starting 32 out of a possible 33 games, with a back injury forcing him to miss only one week 15 encounter with the Arizona Cardinals.

Sealing his place in the football chronicles, he was selected to play in the 2022 Pro Bowl as an injury replacement. His illustrious journey took another significant turn on March 14, 2024, when he penned a lucrative three-year contract of $51 million with the Los Angeles Rams.
