Jermaine Demetrius Burton is an American professional wide receiver born on 28 June 2001 in the United States. He occupies a crucial place in the Cincinnati Bengals team that proudly plays in the National Football League (NFL). Burton’s journey to professional football notably passed through two prestigious academic havens, the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama. Honing his skills at these institutions, Burton managed to clinch the prestigious 2021 National Championship when he was part of the former.

Before joining University Burton attended Calabasas High School located in Calabasas, California. Displaying considerable prowess right from his high school days, he was the chosen one among many to play in the coveted 2020 Under Armour All-America Game. His football talent received recognition as a four-star recruit, compelling him to make the critical decision of committing his college football career to the University of Georgia.

Burton was transferred as a true freshman at Georgia in the year 2020 and successfully aligned himself with the game dynamics. His impressive debut season saw him score three touchdowns with a commendable collection of 404 yards from 27 receptions. Undeterred by this setback, Burton went on to declare himself for the 2024 NFL Draft. The year had seen him top the chart for Alabama wide receivers with undeniable stats of 798 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Burton’s diligence and consistent performance got recognized, and he was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2024 NFL Draft. As a third-round and 80th overall pick by the Bengals, Burton was ready to carve his professional career.
