Hassan Askiali Haskins Jr., known professionally as Hassan Haskins, was born November 26, 1999. He is an accomplished football player, who as of 2024, is a running back for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). His journey into professional football began from his playing years at Eureka High School in Eureka, Missouri, where he was a well-rounded athlete, playing basketball and participating in track and field in addition to football.

Haskins had an impressive high school record, placing second in the high jump in the 2017 MSHSAA Class 5 State Championship and leading his basketball team in blocks and steals. His football statistics during his junior and senior years were strong, showcasing him as both a talented player with incredible potential and a dedicated sportsman.

Despite his achievements, Haskins was not heavily recruited by major football programs, presumably due to his 40-yard dash time in high school, which was considered slow by some scouts. Nevertheless, he was eventually noticed by the University of Michigan and joined their team as a three-star running back in 2017.

Haskins continued to make a mark in college football, willingly converting to the defensive side to play as a linebacker.
