Foyesade “Foye” Oluokun is a prominent American professional football player, born on August 2, 1995. Oluokun, of Nigerian descent, is currently playing as a linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars, a National Football League (NFL) team. Known for his proficient tackling ability, Oluokun has left an indelible mark on the world of professional football, emerging as one of the most sought-after linebackers in the game.

Oluokun got his start on the playing fields at John Burroughs School in Clayton, Missouri, following his attendance at Forsyth School, a local elementary institution. Beyond football, Oluokun was an active participant in basketball, soccer, and various other outdoor enterprises during his formative years. His prowess on the special teams saw him square off with other future professional athletes, including Ezekiel Elliott, a running back who went on to play for the Dallas Cowboys.

Having shown early promise in his local games, Oluokun attended Yale to play college football. The Atlanta Falcons scooped up Oluokun in 2018, drafting him in the 6th round as the 200th overall pick. This achievement made him the 48th Yale player selected in a professional football draft, something not seen since Shane Bannon went pro in 2011. The Falcons showed their vision for Oluokun by signing him to a four-year, $2.60 million contract, along with a generous $146,629 signing bonus in May 2018.

In his rookie season, Oluokun began impressing the coaching staff with his athleticism and exceptional tackling skill.
