Rising from this setback, he was re-signed by the Bears on March 20, 2022. DeAndre soon transitioned to the Baltimore Ravens, signing with them on August 14, 2023. He, however, was released on August 28, 2023. Not one to give up easily, Houston-Carson continued to pursue his passion for the game by signing with the Houston Texans practice squad on September 12, 2023. His tenacity saw him promoted to the active roster within less than two weeks. unfortunately, he was released on September 30.
Despite the series of releases, DeAndre Houston-Carson remains undeterred. He joined the Ravens’ practice squad on October 3, 2023. Again, proving his resilience, Houston-Carson was signed by the Texans off the Ravens’ practice squad later that month, on October 31, 2023.
