Corey Levin's Biography

Corey Michael Levin, born August 12, 1994, is an accomplished American professional football guard recognized for his prowess on the field. Levin’s career in the National Football League (NFL) is marked by his time spent with various esteemed teams, such as the Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, and New York Jets.

Levin first made his mark in the football arena during his college years at Chattanooga, demonstrating exceptional talent and potential. Following his standout performance in college, he caught the attention of the Tennessee Titans, a professional team in the NFL. Consequently, his professional journey was kickstarted when the Titans selected him during the sixth round of the 2017 NFL draft, placing him in the 217th overall position.

His association with the Titans was solidified on May 12, 2017, as they entered into a four-year contract with Levin, worth approximately $2.51 million. Alongside his handsome contract, Levin earned a signing bonus of $110,014, marking the start of an exciting career.

Unfortunately, his tenure with the Titans came to an unexpected end on August 31, 2019, when he was waived by the team. Unfazed by the sudden change of pace, Levin’s skills attracted the attention of the Denver Broncos, who claimed him off waivers on September 1, 2019. Despite being waived on September 14 of the same year, he was re-recruited into the Broncos practice squad.

Another significant milestone in Levin’s career came on November 30, 2019, when he was consequently hired by the Chicago Bears from the Broncos practice squad. Despite his adoption into the Bears’ team, his time with them was short-lived. He was waived on September 3, 2020, marking a transitional period in his career.

Following his departure from the Bears, Levin was signed to the New England Patriots practice squad on September 9, 2020. However, his time with the Patriots was cut short after only two days. Despite this stint, his professional journey continued as he landed with the New York Jets on April 8, 2021. His tenure with the Jets also reached an end on August 31st when he was again waived.

Fortunately for Levin, his journey came full circle on September 1, 2021, when the Titans claimed him off waivers, fostering a reunion between the player and the team that initially drafted him into the professional realm. However, the joys of this reunion were short-lived as he was released on September 6, following which he was re-recruited into the practice squad. Levin’s determination paid off when he was promoted to the active roster on October 8, 2021. Subsequently, he appeared in a Week 5 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, marking his first appearance since 2018.

The following years saw Levin reasserting his value to the Titans, as he resigned with the team twice, first on March 31, 2023, and again on July 25, 2024.
