Zaccharie Risacher Bio
Zaccharie Risacher is a French basketball forward born on April 8, 2005, in Málaga, Spain. As of September 17, 2026, he is listed on the Dallas Mavericks’ roster. His development began in French club basketball with ASVEL, where he made his EuroLeague debut during the 2021–22 season before continuing his career at JL Bourg.
Bourg provided the setting for his European breakthrough. Risacher helped the club reach its first EuroCup final in 2024 and received the competition’s 2023–24 Rising Star award, selected by its head coaches. He became the first French winner of that honor. Euroleague Basketball highlighted his combination of size, quickness and athleticism as important to Bourg’s run, establishing his credentials against senior professional competition before his move to the NBA.
Atlanta selected Risacher first overall in the 2024 NBA Draft. He subsequently earned 2024–25 NBA All-Rookie First Team honors. Dallas’s official NBA team listing records his acquisition from Atlanta on July 19, 2026, marking a new chapter after beginning his NBA career with the Hawks.
