The story of Rechon Malik “Leaky” Black, born June 14, 1999, is one that is laced with an impressive career in basketball, diligent effort, and an open battle with anxiety.

Known as a professional basketball player for the Capital City Go-Go in the NBA G League in America, the tale of Leaky Black started in Concord, North Carolina. Despite the success of his college career, Black faced disappointment when he went undrafted in the 2023 NBA draft. Nonetheless, he persevered, inking a two-way contract with the Charlotte Hornets on July 19, 2023. But fate had seemingly other plans as he was waived off on August 1, 2024, after a brief period with the Hornets.

On September 29, 2024, he signed up with the Washington Wizards. Unfortunately, his stint with the team was cut short when he was waived on October 12. Despite these setbacks, he joined the Capital City Go-Go on October 28, thereby continuing his basketball career.
