Bilal Coulibaly

Bilal Coulibaly is a French professional basketball player listed as a guard for the Washington Wizards. As of September 29, 2026, the NBA’s current Wizards roster lists him at 6 feet 7 inches and 195 pounds, with a birth date of July 26, 2004. The same roster identifies Metropolitans 92 as his previous team and confirms that Washington acquired his draft rights from Indiana on June 23, 2023.

Coulibaly developed professionally with Metropolitans 92 in France, where he played alongside Victor Wembanyama before entering the 2023 NBA Draft. Indiana selected him seventh overall, and his draft rights were traded to Washington on draft night. He made his NBA debut with the Wizards in October 2023 and was selected for the 2024 Panini Rising Stars event, an early milestone in his career.

Coulibaly’s profile is built around positional size, speed, defensive activity and athleticism. Washington has used him as a perimeter defender and versatile wing who can guard across the backcourt and forward positions, move effectively without the ball and contribute in transition. His offensive development has included improving his outside shooting and making quicker decisions within the flow of the offense.
