Domantas Sabonis

As of September 18, 2026, Domantas Sabonis is a forward-center for the Sacramento Kings. Born May 3, 1996, in Portland, Oregon, he is the son of Lithuanian basketball legend Arvydas Sabonis and former Miss Lithuania Ingrida Mikelionyte. Domantas developed in Spain before playing college basketball at Gonzaga, where his interior scoring, rebounding and passing established him as a prominent NBA prospect.

Orlando selected Sabonis with the 11th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and traded his rights to Oklahoma City. He later joined Indiana, where he became an All-Star, before moving to Sacramento in a February 8, 2022 trade. With the Kings, Sabonis has earned All-NBA recognition and developed into a central offensive hub, using strong positioning, physical screening, handoffs and passing from the elbows and post. His game is built around decision-making, rebounding technique and efficient interior play rather than relying primarily on perimeter shooting.

The Sacramento Kings listed Sabonis on their roster as of September 18, 2026, wearing number 11 and playing forward-center. On July 2, 2023, the Kings and Sabonis agreed to a five-year contract arrangement reported at $217 million, including $195 million in new money. His career milestones include three NBA All-Star selections, All-NBA honors and victory in the 2021 NBA All-Star Skills Challenge.
