Chris Paul

Chris Paul is one of the most accomplished and talented guards in NBA history. Born on May 6, 1985 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he began his basketball career at West Forsyth High School and was a McDonald’s All-American selection. From there he moved on to Wake Forest University where he won ACC Player of the Year twice before being drafted fourth overall by the New Orleans Hornets in 2005.

Since then Chris has been an NBA force to be reckoned with as one of the league’s top players for seventeen consecutive seasons. He has made nine All-Star appearances along with eight All-NBA teams during his career and led the league in assists four times while also ranking third all time in steals per game (2.2). His playmaking ability combined with a reliable mid range jump shot make him one of the toughest covers for defenses night after night year after year as evidenced by his 12th place finish on ESPN’s Top 50 Greatest Players list which was released prior to this season’s start.

Offensively, Chris is a master craftsman who often appears to move faster than anyone else even when not actually running full speed down court or dribbling through defenders like slalom courses; receivers run hard routes just waiting for him to thread them pinpoint passes or lob it up so they can throw it down ferociously over opposing centers or point guards alike! With over 10k career assists it’s safe say that CP3 will go down as one of basketball’s best passers ever when all is said done despite never having lead a team deep into postseason success due largely subtler factors outside his control such as roster construction and internal management decisions from several franchises across multiple conferences throughout his tenure thus far(New Orleans Hornets/Los Angeles Clippers/Houston Rockets/Oklahoma City Thunder).

On defense he is no less impressive either; consistently disrupting opposing teams’ offensive flow while putting constant pressure on ball handlers due to fast feet , an incredible wingspan (6 feet 11 inches), plus incredibly savvy timing & anticipation honed by years & years spent studying film & tendencies plus scouting reports . These qualities have earned him 8 First Team Defensive honors . At 34 years old however many question how long Paul can keep up this level play especially given recent injuries including hamstring strains hampering both ends performance but if past seasons are anything indicator then we should expect nothing but complete domination from number 3 whenever takes floor wearing whatever colors represent city calls home at time -Chris Paul doesn’t show signs slowing anytime soon!
