Yi Zha is an up-and-coming mixed martial artist from China. He currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as a Welterweight fighter. Born in 1991, Yi grew up with a love for combat sports and trained in both traditional Chinese martial arts and modern MMA techniques. After spending several years perfecting his craft, he began competing professionally in 2011 and has since become one of the most promising fighters on the UFC circuit today.

Yi’s career started off with great success; he went undefeated over his first ten fights before suffering his first professional loss to fellow UFC fighter Kamaru Usman at UFC Fight Night 112. The setback was only temporary, however, as Yi bounced back quickly by recording three straight wins against formidable opponents such as Bojan Velickovic and Johny Hendricks. His impressive streak earned him a contract with the UFC shortly after, making him only the second Chinese athlete to compete inside the octagon alongside fellow welterweight Li Jingliang.

Since joining the promotion, Yi has been nothing short of spectacular; winning four out of five fights against some of the best 170 lb competitors around including former title challenger Thiago Alves and perennial top ten contender Gilbert Burns. His success hasn’t gone unnoticed either; critics have praised his well-rounded skill set which combines lightning fast striking with highly effective takedowns along with an unwavering focus that allows him to stay composed under pressure situations no matter how dire they may seem to be .

At 28 years old, there is still plenty of time for Yi Zha to make himself one of China’s brightest stars on one of MMA’s biggest stages – something that seems more than likely given what he has already accomplished thus far in his career despite being relatively new to the sport at this level . With each passing fight , it becomes clearer that if any Chinese mixed martial artist can make it big within international competition , then without question it will be Yi Zha leading them into battle every step of way!
