Westin Wilson is one of the most accomplished mixed martial artists in UFC history. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Wilson began his training at an early age. As a teenager he trained Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under world champion teachers such as Dean Lister and John Danaher. After high school, he attended college where he continued to hone his skills as a fighter. His numerous amateur fights made him a firm favorite on the local circuits but it wasn’t until his move to Las Vegas that Westin was able to turn professional with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
In the Octagon, Westin has become known for taking down opponents with precision striking and submissions. He is also renowned for his impressive athleticism which allows him to stay active throughout each fight despite being put up against some of MMA’s toughest competitors. Amongst his accomplishments are several Submission of The Night awards which have cemented him as one of the best technical grapplers in UFC today.
Out of the cage, Wilson continues to be dedicated to giving back through coaching young fighters and offering seminars on self-defense techniques around the country every month or so when not competing professionally inside The Octagon himself; always eager to pass down knowledge gained over many years competing at all levels of combat sports from Jiu Jitsu tournaments around America -to- Mixed Martial Arts fights worldwide for both regional promotions & international organisations eventually leading him into joining UFC itself in 2019 officially beginning Westin’s career thus far within ‘The Promotion’.
Westin currently competes in multiple weight classes ranging from featherweight through heavyweight divisions while still maintaining an undefeated record since making his debut with UFC back in 2019 – having recently signed off onto another 4 fight contract extension promising fans more great performances by now former interim flyweight champion ‘The Undisputed’ Westin Wilson!
