Tucker Lutz is an experienced entrepreneur and business executive with a proven track record of success over the past 20 years. He has built a successful career in many different industries, from technology to health care and wellness to finance. Tucker has also served as an advisor for several companies and startups, helping them grow their businesses.
Tucker graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Business Administration before founding his first company, Tech Ventures LLC, in 2008. His company specialized in developing innovative software products for healthcare organizations and medical device manufacturers. During this time he developed a number of products that have been successfully deployed across the US healthcare system including digital patient records systems, clinical decision support systems, medical device integration platforms and analytics solutions.
In 2014 Tucker joined MedTech Group as Chief Operating Officer where he was responsible for overseeing all operational activities including product innovation, customer service & satisfaction initiatives and overall business strategy development & execution. Under his leadership he helped drive double-digit revenue growth year-over-year while increasing margins by more than 25%. This resulted in MedTech becoming one of the most respected players within its industry which ultimately led to acquisition by Philips Healthcare Solutions at the end of 2019.
Throughout his career Tucker has held various board positions on both publically traded companies as well as private venture capital firms such as Backstage Capital LLC where he serves on their investment committee providing early stage guidance & advice to diverse tech startups across multiple verticals like consumer goods & services, fintech/financial services or ecommerce marketplaces .
In addition to these roles Tucker also cofounded CA Medical Inc., an AI driven mobile application which provides personal health tracking capabilities combined with virtual doctor consultations along with remote home monitoring sensors for elderly patients suffering from chronic ailments such as diabetes or heart disease etc.. The app features personalized coaching plans designed specifically around each individual’s lifestyle needs allowing doctors/caregivers better insights into treatment progressions while providing users valuable feedback related to diet/nutrition plans or exercise regimens aimed at improving quality of life outcomes through increased engagement with the platform overall .
Finally , when not running businesses (or advising/investing) , you can find him out on the golf course enjoying some leisurely competition amongst friends / colleagues or hosting events supporting LGBTQ+ causes throughout Southern California .
