Trevin Jones is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is currently competing as a bantamweight. He began his professional career in 2013, and has since established himself as one of the top fighters in his weight class.

Born on November 17th, 1988, Trevin was raised by his mother and father in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Growing up he had a passion for boxing and football but would later lean towards mixed martial arts over these two sports when he turned 19 years old. After making the switch to MMA, Trevin started fighting amateur bouts all over Louisiana before eventually turning pro in 2013 at the age of twenty-five. After his first few victories Trevin decided it was time to move up to bigger promotions like Bellator where he put together an impressive 5-2 record with notable wins over Darrion Caldwell and Joe Taimanglo.

In 2019 Trevin signed with UFC and made his debut against Matt Schnell at UFC Fight Night 176 where he won via unanimous decision. Since then he’s gone 2-3 inside the octagon but has shown flashes of brilliance along the way such as when he scored a stunning knockout victory over Timur Valiev this past March 2021 at UFC 261 or when he earned Fight of The Night honors for his battle against Andre Ewell at UFC Fight Night 178 back in October 2020 which ended up being deemed one of best fights ever showcased during an entire year long stint that saw many stellar performances from some of MMA’s biggest stars including Jon Jones, Conor McGregor & Israel Adesanya among others..

Trevin’s next fight will be against Jerome Rivera at UFC 263 on June 12th 2021 where if victorious; it could possibly lead him into contention for rankings within bantamweight division which is currently dominated by names like Petr Yan or Aljamain Sterling just to name a few world class competitors who hold titles or occupy prominent spots within rankings list that dictates modern day landscape across entire sport worldwide.. Going forward Trevin hopes to prove himself worthy enough amongst best athletes within organization while also continuing improve upon skillset both physically & mentally that have led him this point thus far into journey filled full potential promise awaiting ahead!
