Saidyokub Kakhramonov is an Uzbekistani mixed martial artist who currently fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born on November 14, 1995 in Andijan, Uzbekistan. Kakhramonov began his career at the age of 16 with a background in Khuresh, a traditional form of wrestling from his native region.
Kakhramonov made his professional debut in 2012 and quickly established himself as one of the top prospects from Uzbekistan. He won eight straight fights before signing with M-1 Global in 2014. Kakhramonov had some success there, including wins over Magomed Ismailov and Mukhammad Dzhafarov to cap off his M-1 tenure.
In 2017, Kakhramonov signed with the UFC and made his debut against Alexei Kunchenko at UFC Fight Night: St Petersburg. Unfortunately for him he lost via split decision but went on to win three consecutive bouts against Rusty Crowder at UFC Fight Night: Singapore (2018), Damir Hadzovic at The Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale (2018) and Teemu Packalen at UFC Fight Night: London (2019).
Kakhramonov’s most recent fight was a loss to Francisco Trinaldo at UFC 249 which snapped his winning streak but did not diminish what has been an impressive start to life as a professional fighter inside the octagon.
