Rinya Nakamura is an MMA fighter from Japan who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) flyweight division. Born on April 27, 1995, he was raised in the city of Fukuoka and has been training in martial arts since his early teenage years. He began his career as a professional mixed martial artist when he joined DEEP Jewels promotion back in 2017.
Nakamura made his UFC debut on June 20, 2020 at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs Volkov against Amir Albazi. He won the fight via unanimous decision after three rounds of fierce competition. After this impressive win, Nakamura went on to face Kai Kara-France at UFC 253 where he emerged victorious again with a unanimous decision victory over the tough New Zealander.
Outside of fighting, Nakamura enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing video games such as Call of Duty and Battlefield 5. A master grappler by trade, Nakamura is always looking for ways to improve himself both inside and outside the octagon whether it’s working out or studying new techniques from different styles such as Brazilian jiu-jitsu or wrestling. When asked about what motivates him to train so hard each day for success inside octagon he explained “I believe that I can achieve anything I set my mind too if I put forth enough effort”
Since joining the UFC roster, Rinya Nakamura has established himself as one of Japan’s top flyweight prospects due to his ability to finish fights or outwork opponents in grueling battles that go all five rounds if need be. His strategy consists mostly of using a combination between traditional karate strikes while looking for takedowns then proceeding with ground work where possible searching either submissions or control positions until finished off with punches before standing back up again ready for another round if needed be . This style has proven successful thus far but only time will tell how far it takes him beyond just been one more addition into fabled Japanese MMA scene
Outside competition , Rinya stands amongst some few others within MMA field who already graduated University during their active years filled up with countless hours spent at gym . Having graduated from Faculty Of Engineering from Kumamoto University , Rinya admitted having huge appreciation towards education feeling like it helps him become more well rounded person which eventually leads onto better results within cage .
