Randy Costa is an American professional mixed martial artist who competes in the bantamweight division of the UFC. He was born on August 25, 1992, in Taunton Massachusetts and began his career as an amateur MMA fighter at the age of 15.

Costa initially trained under former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk before going on to compete for CFFC and CES MMA. In 2018, he made his professional debut with a submission win over Kristian Lopez at Combat Zone 62. The victory earned him a contract with the UFC after impressing their staff during Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series event that year.

In 2019, Randy Costa made his much-anticipated debut on the biggest stage of MMA when he faced Boston Salmon at Ultimate Fighter Finale 28. He won by unanimous decision and kicked off what has become an impressive run in the promotion thus far.

Since then, Costa has gone 2-1 in three fights inside the octagon; winning over Martin Day via technical knockout and suffering a split decision loss against Raoni Barcelos during Fight Night 161 event last year 2020 .
