Ramiz Brahimaj (born April 21, 1995) is an American mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York to Kosovar-Albanian immigrants. Ramiz was introduced to mixed martial arts at a very young age and began training extensively prior to turning professional. As an amateur fighter he amassed a record of 5-1 before making his professional debut under the Legacy Fighting Alliance banner.

Since then, Ramiz has built up an impressive resume by competing in several promotions such as Bellator MMA, Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Combate Americas. In 2020 he made his UFC debut against Max Griffin at UFC on ESPN: Smith vs Teixeira where he came away with the victory via split decision. This win marked his first victory inside the ‘Octagon’ and also earned him Fight of The Night honors for one of his most memorable performances yet.

Following this successful performance, Ramiz continued to impress with further wins over Takashi Sato at UFC Fight Night: Overeem vs Volkov and Luke Zecchinat UFC 253 respectively; both fights went according to plan with him picking up unanimous decisions from all three judges involved on both occasions respectively too! His last fight came against TUF alum Laureano Staropoli at UFC Vegas 15 where he won by third round submission due primarily too numerous unanswered strikes throughout the contest rather than having any real strategy going into it!

Ramiz boasts a vast array of skills including strong striking combinations coupled with solid grappling abilities which allows him to be well rounded in areas that many other fighters lack or are unable too simply keep up with when it comes down too intensity levels etc… His physical stature is quite imposing as well as standing 6ft tall & weighing 170lbs – perfect size for welterweight divisional standards within MMA today! On top off this impressive list accomplishments so far during career thus far – Brahimaj became 2nd ever Kosovar-Albanianto compete within promotion after fellow contender Ilir Latifi back 2017; showing courage & determination alike despite various obstacles encountered along way towards reaching goal becoming professional fighter from early beginnings onwards… something which can easily inspire others hoping follow footsteps someday soon themselves one day hopefully!. Lastly no discussion about man would complete without mention dedication hard work ethic displayed each time steps inside octagon square up opponents ahead – not letting anything stand chance even slightest putting everything line go distance achieve ultimate objectives result favored outcome each time out there regardless circumstances may arise proving just why highly regarded amongst peers industry wide setting standard should strive reach level excellence achieved already since day one!
