BIOGRAPHY

Ramazan Emeev is a professional MMA fighter from Russia who currently competes in the UFC’s middleweight division. Ramazan was born August 7, 1986 in Makhachkala, Dagestan and started his martial arts career when he was just 9 years old. He is of Chechen descent and began training in Sambo at the age of 12 under the tutelage of his father, legendary coach Akhmed Emeev.

Emeev quickly established himself as one of Russia’s most promising up-and-coming fighters winning multiple national championships during his amateur career which saw him amass an impressive record with over 50 fights before turning pro in 2010 at 24 years old. As a professional fighter, Ramazan compiled an impressive 20-3 record (14 wins by submission) competing for some of Europe’s biggest promotions including M-1 Global and Fight Nights Global where he held both Middleweight titles simultaneously for several years before making his UFC debut on July 28th 2018 against Alberto Uda at UFC Fight Night 134: Shogun vs Smith in Hamburg Germany.

Emeev made short work of Uda submitting him via rear naked choke in round 2 resulting in a Performance Of The Night bonus award marking it as one of the best performances by any new comer to the promotion that year! Since then Ramazan has gone on to compete 8 times inside the Octagon securing 5 wins while becoming one of only 3 Russians to ever win 4 or more fights since joining the organisation behind Khabib Nurmagomedov & Alexander Volkov – such accomplishment have seen him gain quite a following amongst UFC fans who regard him as one if not THE top prospect coming out Russia right now!

Outside fighting Ramzan also owns and operates ‘TOP TEAM’ – an MMA school located alongside ‘MMA Empire’ near Moscow where he teaches young athletes how to box & grapple while helping them develop all around mental toughness required for success inside cage or ring! All this combined with endless hours spent perfecting craft has seen Emeev rise among ranks not just Russian but international scene receiving praise even from former Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones whom he recently faced off against during Las Vegas press conference when discussing potential fight & future title shot!?
