Niklas Stolze is an impressive professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter from Germany. He began his martial arts training at the age of 15 and quickly developed a passion for the sport. Since then, he has put in countless hours towards honing his craft and has since become one of the top competitors in both MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ).
Stolze was born on March 17th, 1991 in Berlin, Germany. From a young age, he was always into sports. He grew up playing basketball, handball, football and tennis but it wasn’t until 2010 that he discovered MMA while watching highlights of UFC fighters on YouTube. After that moment Niklas knew what path he wanted to take with his life so he started going to local clubs to learn how to fight. Within two years Stolze had already won several amateur fights including being crowned as state champion twice by 2012. In 2013 Niklas made his professional debut at just 22 years old where he won via submission although unfortunately this win would be overturned after the German Athletic Commission found out that one of the participants had failed their pre-fight drug test which disqualified them both from competition due to ‘association’ rules set forth by DBC ruleset regulations.
In 2014 Niklas continued competing professionally fighting for multiple promotions such as “Arena Fighters” across Europe; His career progress can be seen through wins such as KSW 24 where Stolze defeated opponent Ante Banicevic via decision after three rounds or Super Fight League 28 where Niklas submitted Damian Lapuz but was later released from SFL due contractual issues between him and promotion itself before fighting under Ultimate Fighting Championship umbrella back in 2017 when signed 3 fight deal contract with them . Since signing UFC deal in 2017 Stolze went undefeated against all opponents who are either British or South African origin , notching notable wins over Ashley Reece , Danny Henry or Don Madge whom all were finished within 2 rounds total proving undisputed dominance over European/Global Featherweight division while creating fanbase throughout process .
Most recently , during 2020 pandemic period Stolze decided move up weight classes & compete Lightweight division which saw him face off against Makhmud Muradov whom eventually came out victorious despite coming off short notice replacement situation forced onto him couple week prior original booking date .
