Muhammad Naimov is an Uzbekistani MMA fighter who is currently competing in the UFC’s middleweight division. He is widely regarded as one of the best fighters in the division and also holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Naimov was born on April 25, 1986 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. At an early age he began to train in Judo and Sambo at his local gym and quickly developed a passion for martial arts. After excelling at these disciplines he decided to take up MMA training which eventually led him to compete professionally against opponents from all over the world. In 2009 Naimov moved to Russia where he competed mainly for M-1 Global promotions as well as other notable promotions such as Fight Nights Global (FNG) before finally signing with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 2017.

Since joining UFC, Naimov has gone undefeated with five consecutive victories including four by decision and one by submission against Ed Herman back in 2018 via rear-naked choke during their fight at UFC 230: Cormier vs Lewis 2 event held at Madison Square Garden arena located in New York City, USA on November 3rd 2018. During this impressive run Muhammad has shown great skills both standing up using striking techniques like Karate or Muay Thai but also when going to ground exchanges taking advantage of his high level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu knowledge scoring multiple submissions wins over his opponents throughout his professional career until now under UFC’s banner .
