Mike Breeden is an American mixed martial artist and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter. He was born in Tyler, Texas on October 1, 1976. Growing up, Mike had a passion for sports, particularly soccer and basketball. He graduated from Lindale High School in 1995 where he was an athlete as well as class valedictorian. After high school, he attended the University of Texas at Austin to pursue his degree in psychology and physical therapy.

Breeden got into MMA after watching some UFC fights with friends when he was 18 years old. Initially starting out training Jiu Jitsu with a local gym before enrolling at the Miletich Fighting Systems camp under Pat Miletich’s coaching staff when he was 22 years old; that’s where his career really began to take off. In 2004 Breeden made his professional debut against Dan Severn at SuperBrawl 28: Unfinished Business for which earned him a unanimous decision victory due to dominant wrestling style performance over “The Beast” himself! During this stretch he competed under several major promotions such as WEC/World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), King Of The Cage (KOTC), Pancrase USA (PSU) & International Fight League (IFL). As time passed on Breeden went undefeated until finally losing via submission against former IFL Light Heavyweight champion Vladimir Matyushenko at IFC – Global Domination 3: San Francisco Showdown in 2006 putting end to impressive winning streak spanning 9 bouts without any losses or draws during that period!

Mike then signed with the UFC in 2007 however suffered two separate defeats in succession back-to-back matches versus Thiago Silva & James Irvin respectively thus forcing him into retirement shortly thereafter due financial difficulties but still remains active today through teaching seminars around country about different aspects MMA related stuff such submissions holds etcetera… Despite these setbacks though overall record stands formidable 15 wins 7 Losses with many notable names credited few those already mentioned previously along likes of Antoni Hardonk – whom defeated via KO punch just one minute into Round One their fight held Strikeforce – Carano vs Cyborg event 2009!
